Escape the desert heat and join us for a fun-filled day trip to Ruidoso, New Mexico! We’ll depart El Paso at 7:30am, drive through the beautiful mountains and Mescalero Apache Tribe lands before arriving at 10:30am. We’ll start with an adrenaline rush at the Screaming Eagle Coaster, a thrilling mountain ride with stunning views. Then, we’ll stroll through Ruidoso’s charming downtown, where you can explore unique shops, local art, restaurants and cozy cafés. To top it all off, we’ll relax by the beautiful Grindstone Lake, or you can book a horseback riding excursion at Grindstone Stables, the perfect spot for a peaceful walk, photo opportunities, or simply enjoying the fresh mountain air before heading back home at 5:00pm for a 2.5 hr drive back home to El Paso.

Additional Tips: Book horseback riding tours in ADVANCE to secure a ride to the stables between 3:00 and 5pm. Tickets for the Screaming Eagle can be purchased in advance at Screaming Eagle Enterprises website or at the door. Please note the ride shuts down for lightning strikes and thunderstorms.

Screaming Eagle Coaster Price - $25 per person, $8 for lap rider

We recommend bringing minimum extra $75 for coaster ticket, shopping, lunch and dinner. Options available for various price ranges.
